During the “XXXIII AIOP International Congress” of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry, Gianluca Paniz has been speaker during the pre-congress workshops. Dr Paniz lecture focused on the Esthetic on Anterior Implant-Supported Restorations. Esthetic (such as Lithium Disilicate) and biocompatible (such as titanium) materials help the achievement of a natural integration of the soft and hard tissues around the implants and of stable gingiva long-term.

During the Congress Gianluca Paniz spent a lot of tome together with one of his mentors, Doctor Kenneth Malament (www.bostonprosthodontics.com), speaker of the Congress during saturday morning session. Dr Malament is one of the most successful dentist in United States from different point of view: clinically (his practice is the most successful prosthodontic practice in Boston), academically (Dr Malament has been president of almost all the american academy of prosthetic dentistry and he is full professor at TUFTS University), in the research field (several researches have been published in peer reviewed journals and Dr Malament is part of one of the most important research group on ceramics of the world). Dr Malament visited Padova, his surroundings and Dr Paniz practice.

At the Poster Session of the congress, the last research, completed by Gianluca Paniz at the University of Padova with the help of the research temp of the implantology department, has been presented by Dr Paolo Zalunardo.
