Gianluca Paniz was born in Padova in 1978 and lives in Padova next to Sant’Antony Church.

Gianluca took his passion for dentistry visiting the offices of his father Paolo, Medical Doctor, specialized in Dentistry in 1978 at the University of Padova. His mother Carla is teaching foreign languages (english and french) in Padova and his one sister, Federica, is dedicating her professional career to law (graduated at Bocconi University in Milan, LLM at Boston University and actually working at Chiomenti office in Milan).

In 1996 Gianluca completed his scientific studies at Liceo Scientifico Enrico Fermi in Padova and started his undergraduate studies at the University of Padova. With the high desire to know the world Gianluca followed his parents love to travel and combined his studies with periods living abroad, first in Wales (Erasmus program in Cardiff) and then in Boston. In particular he spent 4 years in Massachusetts, from 2003 till 2007, attending TUFTS University.
This has been a fascinating experience not only from the professional point of view, living in contact with different culture and habits and creating friendship all around the world.

In 2007, after the american experience, he started his daily practice in Padova (Studio dentistico Mazzocco-Paniz) and also gives periodic consultations in his father office in Belluno (Studio Dentistico Dr. Paolo Paniz).

Since education was one of his passion, he accepted different university teaching positions (Professore a Contratto at Padova University and Adjunct Assistant Professor at TUFTS University in Boston) and participated to different courses and congresses as a speaker. His international contacts allowed him to travel to different countries giving several lectures on dental esthetics, implant prosthodontics and prosthetic dentistry. (Stati Uniti, Libano, Svezia, Korea, Giappone, Spagna, Germania, …).

Gianluca loves soccer, fan of Calcio Padova and Juventus FC, and practice golf (hcp 13) and alpine ski (downhill and free-ride).

In 2009 he take part to New York City marathon and completed the 42km together with friends and collegues to celebrate the achievement of the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. From this first running experience, a passion and challenge started with several other performances on the short (half-marathon, best time 1h41min) and long distance (Boston and Berlin Marathon, best time 4h23min).

In July 216, Gianluca Paniz achieves the title of Phd (Doctor Philosophiae), the maximum academic achievement in the world.

From 2015, Gianluca is married with Marta and has two daughters (Alberta, born in 2016) and Costanza (born in 2018).
